CUE’s Launching Dual Degrees

Concordia is officially offering a dual degree: the Bachelor of Management and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. To help equip future IT professionals, CUE is offering a program that will allow students to earn two degrees in just five years.

“IT professionals are increasingly being called upon to lead teams and drive corporate strategy.” says Dr. Brett Buchanan, CUE Dean of Arts and Interim Dean of Science. “To succeed, they need more than just technical savvy—they need the leadership and organizational skills that our management curriculum provides.”

This program will cover a comprehensive curriculum of Management (including accounting, finance, HR, leadership, and marketing) and Science IT (including software development, cybersecurity, and networking). Applications are now open for the 2026 Fall semester.

“We are developing the next generation of CTOs and tech entrepreneurs who can navigate both the server room and the boardroom with equal confidence,” says Buchanan.
